E200

Utilising strong angles and clean lines, Highgate is the modern answer to an urban warehouse office. Nu-Wall’s E200 cladding offers strong vertical lines to provide texture, enhanced by the metallic Dulux powdercoat finish. Designed for low maintenance, Nu-Wall was the perfect solution for this structure.

Sustainable urban design

Highgate is a distinctive and modern take on a commercial warehousing precinct. Situated in an industrial area adjacent to the Northern motorway, the brief for the complex prioritised low maintenance and durability.

Jonathan Walker Architects designed this structure with a goal of creating a functional office warehouse space in an attractive commercial aesthetic. Many industrial complexes are primarily constructed of concrete slab, augmented with Alucobond panels. In contrast, E200’s strong vertical seams on the office sections offered a welcome visual lift to contrast with the vast geometric windows and monolithic block.

JWA believe Nu-Wall was an obvious choice for this structure. Not only does it exceed the durability and low maintenance requirements, it’s also available in long sections, to cover expanses without seams. The metallic finish shifts throughout the day, offering a fresh perspective at every change of the light. The colour durability is a key feature too, with a 20 year guarantee on the powdercoating alone.

Architect Jonathan Walker, JWA architects:

Nu-wall works really well for the strong, sculptural architecture we like - it can clad complicated forms, it has excellent weather tightness, and colour choice is only restricted by your daring!
